April 11, 201214 yr Commercial Member Corey, That's completely normal - it's called "optical collimation" and the NGX is the only airliner addon that realistically simulates it. If what's on the HGS doesn't maintain position relative to the outside world then it's of no use. That's the whole point of the system. It's effectively designed so that the information is projected to infinity out in space in front of the airplane. You need to adjust your viewpoint so that all the information is visible, not the other way around - the HGS won't adjust to you. With WideViewAspect=True and the default VC preset all the information should be visible. A super wide angle zoomed out view isn't realistic in terms of what a pilot really sees and the HGS has to reflect that - it's designed to show all the information when the pilot's head is right in front of the combiner glass.
