I'm surprised that you would have to steer the DC3 the same way as the classic DC3 taildragger, but since the floats/amphibians were prototypes wouldn't they have been steered by turning the front wheels rather than differential braking and differential engine throttling?

 

If not, then this should be corrected IMO.
