Guys, not a usual posting, but I know a lot of you are wizards, so here goes...Many years ago, I'm not sure of the date, a UAL 747 was diverted to land at Wellington, New Zealand (NZWN). This is interesting, as Wellington's runway is not long enough for 747 ops, and only handles 747's in emergencies.I've put various permutations of this into Google, and are unable to find anything that gives me a detailed review of how and why this happened (I'm not too interested in pictures, but it would be a bonus if included).So you very resourceful people, can anyone find me a URL link to sites that would give a report on this event?
