April 17, 200422 yr Hi All,The "sky" in FS2002 is blue from the top of the screen down to the horizon. Is there ANY WAY to fix this? (besides using FS2004). OR, can the older FS Clouds program be used in FS2002? Any help would be appreciated. FS2000 and 2004 sky has a graduated sky effect, but FS2002 appears to be a SOLID BLUE. Thanks for any feedback.Al Whitney - Bacal Aircraft Lab
April 17, 200422 yr Hmmm... sounds like it's your PC or FS2002 setup?Look at my picture ..... http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/71892.jpgYou will notice that the blue deepens towards the top ........ maybe the graduated effect is more obvious in FS2000 and FS98? :-hmmmLook at your settings - I run FS2002 in 32Bit mode :) Quote from MS Flight Team Lead: "We’ve made some guesses"
April 17, 200422 yr Hi MD83,I too run in 32 bit mode. Thing is, when you are sitting on the ground that you notice the ALL BLUE sky the most. In the air, my sim looks AOK with a graduated sky line. I may not have noticed this except when I was reading what Peter Dowson wrote about this, then I DID notice it! Can't believe the sky line looks better in FS2000.Thanks a lot for the info.
