The ideal A320?

Featured Replies

What's your opinion of the "ideal" A320? I have both the PSS 330 and the Eurowings A320. I like the PSS panel. It's not an A320 panel but they're pretty close I think. Oddly enough, I like the look of the iFDG aircraft better than the Eurowings one, even though it's freeware. So, I guess I'm leaning towards the iFDG model with the PSS panel. Can you mix and match FDE's? If so, any thoughts on which is better, the Eurowings or iFDG?

A few people including myself use the PSS panel and sounds with the iFDG A320.

Personally I use PSS panel, Ifdg model, my own textures and sound by Peter Binmaria (thanks Pete). Awesome combination.Colin

What kind of changes are needed in order to adopt the PSS Panel to the Ifdg Airbus??I'm glad this post was just put in, I was going to ask the same thing. :)

Colin, I'm using Peter's sounds too. And yes, they're great. Looks like we're doing the same thing, PSS panel, ifdg model, and Peter's sounds. What textures are you using? Do you paint?Billg

For our A321, it'll be a little different. The FDE being created for it will work with the PSS panel without modification. So all you have to do is alias the panel to the PSS panel and you'll be ready to fly. No other modifications will be needed. For those who don't have the PSS panel, no worries; the plane will also work just fine with freeware panels as well.

Shane, are you using the PSS 320 or 330 panel. I've heard the 320 is revised FS2002 panel while the 330 is FS9 from the ground up.

It is. My problem though is that I have too many "good" airplanes so I don't get very good on any of them. I'm always switching so I don't get enough time on any one of them. :-)billg

I do indeed paint my own livery. Will probably post in the screenshot forum one day when I can get round to it. There is a shot of my MD11 on my webite httpcapncolwa21.mysite.freeserve.com (no www needed)Colin
