How to show FPS in Flight

Featured Replies

Got another question? I know how to view FPS in the other Microsoft Flight Sims, but can't figure it out in Flight. Can someone tell me how to view my FPS?

I think most of us use Fraps, there is no in game method I know of.

I try not to obsess about FPS or tiny twinkling artifacts, but am expecting an upgraded graphics card in the next day or two, so it will be interesting to use Fraps to see the difference. Talking of twinkling artifacts, I flew the Stearman on a midnight flight this evening... I looked up (from the cockpit) to see nothing but a canopy of stars... It was chilly (I had the window ajar) but beautiful :)

Staib that is awesome about the stars. I downloaded FRAPS and it works great, I only get 30fps on low settings, guess my laptop is not all that, oh well still looks good to me and performs great. You guys are great, thanks again...

Core i3 @ 2.2GHz

6GB DDR3

Intel HD 3000 Graphics <---- I am sure that is what is killing me, lol.:)

Funny thing is when I play FS 2004 I can max out the setttings on this laptop and it looks great..

I think your laptop is probably more powerful than my old desktop ;)

But, at least I can always add new graphical bits into mine (seems pretty empty in that full size box)... :)
