April 28, 201214 yr Dear all, I would like to ask if someone have a solution on how to calculate FLEX temperatures, trim settings and take off speeds on the Wilco Airbus vol. 2 models (A330/A340). I am trying to do a reduced take off power setting (TOW around 200 tonnes) but even when I put 90 degrees Celsius take off Flex setting, I will go real fast to the Vr speed (EPR setting of around 1.700). So I have seen some videos on real A330s, they had a TOW around 220 tonnes with a Flex setting of 48 degrees Celsius, which gave them a EPR setting of 1.512 .. Did WILCO made a mistake with values of man flex settings? Am I doing something wrong? Please help me out! Regards, Karim
May 10, 201214 yr Wilco did not modle the performance accurately, so you may not expect too much. BTW, you cannot compare A320's engine to A330's since the performance for each engine type is very differrent. David Chen
