Freeware addon B747-400 for FS9 with virtual cockpit?

Featured Replies

Hi all,I'm a relative newbie to FS2004, and am looking for a freeware addon of a B747-400 with a virtual cockpit. I have downloaded the POSKY model but am disappointed because it doesn't have a VC. Can anyone help me with another freeware addon to try? Any help appreciated.Darren.

There aren't any. Sorry.Misha

Wouldn't that be nice. There is a 757 though if you are into flying winged cigars :-hah

Thanks guys. I was afraid you'd say that......

except the one the comes with FS of course!! I'd like to see a 747 with a VC freeware too!

Wait for the PMDG one.

Wow, a freeware 744 by PMDG! Will it support ACARS and IRS? :(

Hey I am just like you buddy, I need to fly in a VC, thats why I don't touch anything without it. Unfortunately freeware aircraft with quality VCs is hard to come by. Search the file library here for the file:fd744ae.zipthis is a replacement air and cfg file for the default 747 with updated flight dynamics. Then download a nice sound pack and you have a beautiful airplane with a working VC!! and since its the default aircraft you still get great frames

And: Stick Jet Line 4, sans the engine gauges, and the RXP GPS & WX machines in there, and you have a great set up!

do these new addon gauges show up in the virtual cockpit?
