April 29, 201214 yr Hi all, In my quest for better engine sounds, I aliased the sound from the FSX Goose to an add-on plane (Shupe's AC680) and I have this sound problem: When I'm sitting with the engines at idle, the sound is great but when I go back inside the cockpit from an outside view, the engines are at high RPM. I have to increase the throttle to about 50% then back to idle to make the sound come back to idle. Is it the design of the plane? This also happens in the Goose cockpit, but it's even worse because I can't get the Goose engines to be at idle inside the cockpit no matter what. Any idea why this is happening?
April 29, 201214 yr Author Well I found it. I guess there was a typo in the original sound config: [COMBUSTION.1.03] filename=GGoos_RPM04"_Right" should be "_Left" I changed it and the Goose sound is fixed.
