737NGX engine problems

Featured Replies

Hi people

Ever since I purchased the 747 and 737 for FSX I have had endless problems with them, most of which I solve, but recently I have had a problem with the 737, when ever I turn off the engines I get a constant beeping and when I go to turn the engines back on nothing happens and I just get a low oil pressure sign come up, I was wondering if you could help me solve this, or if any of you could tell me how to un-install and re-install the 747 and 737,

Thanks

Adam

The reason you hear a beeping is because there is no power source currently active. On the overhead panel, next time you shut off the engines, start the APU or connect Ground Power to keep a constant flow of current through your systems. This will stop the beeping.

For engine start, make sure you have Ground Air or the APU running before you attempt an engine start, or else nothing will happen.

There is a pretty detailed step-by-step checklist in your NGX documents folder detailing the best strategies for starting the engines and performing engine shutdown. Hope that helps!

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
