Saved weather in FSX

My understanding of any saved flight in FSX is that a number of weather stations surrounding the aircraft are also saved. Does anyone know the radius from the aircraft that encompass the area where weather stations are saved? I'm referring here to saved real weather that can generate different weather at different weather stations.
