It was both happy and yet sad at that the same time in Toronto today. I was able to see the Concorde land at Pearson for what is the first and last time that I will ever see it. She made a beautiful approach and landing into Runway 23 and then taxied in to disembark.Tomorrow night at 18:00 local time she will depart for the last time from a Canadian airport and in three weeks time she will grace the skies no more. While never a commercial success everyone in aviation knows she was a huge technological one. I know in my heart she will be missed.Richard RoweVice President TrainingVirtual Air Canada

I was up there at YYZ and saw the Concorde leave. What a great experience. It felt like the whole airport stopped to watch he take off and pay their last respects. Departed 33R, right in front of us on the T1 parking garage. Awesome.
