May 6, 201214 yr Hi all, Since yesterday, I am having trouble starting my FS9. Now every time I start it, the minutes, I start to do anything, like change view, or select the flight planner, it shut down. I cannot see the reason for the error, as I am on WIN7x64. So how would I go about finding the errors. I have game booster, and I did a diagnose, and I saw an error referring to NTD.dll, but I am unable to replace it, it tells me I need auth for that. I am running as admin, and cannot delete or replace it. I tried to delete the FS9.cfg, and start a new one, it's just shut down, the minute, I choose fly . Any idea how can I fix that. BTW I am running Win7 x 64 FS9 sp1 and tons of add-ons. So I hope I don't have to reinstall from 0. Thanks so much Hani
May 7, 201214 yr I cannot see the reason for the error, as I am on WIN7x64. There's usually a pop-up message when you experience a crash, and all you have to do is to expand the "detail" in the pop up message (below the "Restart The Program" line). Or, just go to event viewer, by typing "event viewer" in the search box (start program). At least that's how I analyze the error. The last few cases I encountered were mostly missing/faulty dll files. If you have spotted the culprits, first thing you may want to do is visit http://www.adventure-unlimited.org/faultfinding.php Hope this helps
May 7, 201214 yr Author Hi There, Thanks for getting back to me, on WIN7 I only get the pop-up FS9 stop working and windows is looking for a solution, and then it's the pop-up FS9 is now restarting. I will try to go in the event viewer, to track it, but anyhow now I have been getting too many errors, so I decided to get the pil and restart from scratch. Thanks again for your help, I will use it in the future. Regards
