Hello David

I don’t know what your problem might be, we would need more info if available, from the Windows Event Viewer and from “View all problem reports” (without quotations) applet.

What is your operating system, ram, video card etc.?

If you are using Windows 7 then in the meantime try to start Flight in windowed mode:

%AppData%\Microsoft\Flight (<- copy and paste to the address bar)

Make a backup copy of Flight.cfg, then edit it and set Fullscreen=0 (it should be the 5th line)

Give it a try.

Thanks for your help. I have managed to get Flight to work in window mode but I have mattrox and three monitors so I would like to get a full screen, I will keep trying . thanks again.

Glad you got it working, at least in windowed mode. Once you get thought the first two missions you can try different screen configurations. Try turning vSync off and settings to LOW, then work your way up to MAX one by one.

Tip: Keep a backup copy of all your career files (20 total), in case things go wrong. C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Flight\Players\<Numbers Folder>\Career
