May 8, 201214 yr Hey fellas, I had to do a reinstall of FSX - and I installed NGX SP1c. I replaced the "PMDG_737_Touchdown.wav" file in FSX/SOUND/PMDG/737NG/VARIOUS folder using the awesome sounds from the "Ground Roll Enhancement" thread. This was my exact setup before I had to reinstall everything. Problem: on touchdown, I don't get the loud shaky touchdown sound that I USED TO. Now I just hear the dull thud of the touchdown. I'm not sure what could have gone wrong -- I'm sure I haven't done anything different. Any tips? Thanks, Sam Kharey
May 8, 201214 yr My suggestion would be to reinstall the 737NGX and copy / paste the Ground-Roll Enhancement.
May 8, 201214 yr Author Hi McCarter - I tried that, no avail. The only different thing I can think of is that I didn't upgrade to SP1b ... I went straight to SP1c... but I doubt that makes a difference? Sam Kharey
May 8, 201214 yr If you are in version 3219 (SP1C), this poses no problem. I also uninstalled the 737NGX and copy / paste the Ground-Roll Enhancement. And I have not had any problems
May 8, 201214 yr I forgot, if you are past the SP1B/SP1C ? That is why it does not work. You must reinstall the 737 NGX. And directly install the SP1C. Otherwise, version 3219, will not work correctly.
