FSX .fsr video file question

I am getting into Windows movie maker. I am looking for a codec that will handle the FSX video files which have the .fsr extension. I have looked around the internet for such a codec but no luck so far. Or maybe I should just give up and try using FRAPS. I suppose I am on a fishing expedition here. Any comments will be helpful. Thanks , Paul
