FS Web Communicator needs updating

Featured Replies

I love using this addon since I belong to a virtual airline and am starting to log longer flights. FS Web Communicator is like an inflight movie of which I like to watch YouTube and Hulu. It is starting to show its age as it utilizes Internet Explorer 7, even if you have IE8 installed. I'm wondering if there is a genious out there that can update FS Web Communicator to make it use IE8 or even Firefox. I've already contacted the original developer and he has no plans for future updates, and I doubt he even still flight sims any more. I imagine this modification is done by changing an entry within the .dll file, as there is nothing else to change.

Just today I saw a message from YouTube saying they are going to disconinue support for IE7 very soon, of which I suppose FS Web Communicator will no longer be able to show videos from YouTube, and anywhere else that copies YouTube/Google.

Thanks,

Todd
