:-cool :-cool Hi everybody. If anyone interested: FS2k standard, stock FS2002/CFS2 Corsair F4U-1, UPGRADED with Paul Bradford' s file ( fs9_f4u1d__fmv1.0.zip ) on this site can perform the BEST SPINS I ever made (no spinning pretenders and/or performers excluded !!! ). AND at no cost !!! :-hah :9 Warning: it takes plenty of height to recover. Remember: it's not enough to centralize the stick; you must apply opposite rudder in order to stop spinning AND recover gently from the dive because with THIS aircraft speed builds up like it should. Thanks Paul ! Happy spinningP.S. Working with elevator you can also induce flat spins, but as to how coming out it's another matter.:-hmmm :-zhelp

Oh cool. I was glad to see someone did a new air file. Now I'll have to try the spin cycle.Cheers,Todd

In Falcon4 you could induce a flat spin. To recover you had to rock the plane foreward and back a little more each time until you reduced the AOA enough for the control surfaces to function. But first you had to disable part of the fly by wire control system which would otherwise prevent you from accomplishing this manuver.David

For those of us that no longer have FS2002, do you know where can we get the plane to install into FS2004. I know somebody made the FS2002 182RG available in FS2004.
