May 20, 201214 yr Hi all, I have skated thru the manuals, so may have missed this but I am trying to assign key commands to certain switches on the J41, for example the rotating beacon, nav lights, strobe, taxi lights. Some (most) of these lights don't have an individual assignment in the standard FSX key commands menu which the J41 uses. I have a CH Yoke and throttle quadrant and have assigned these lights to buttons on the quadrant for the PMDG 744X using FSUIPC (registered) and want to have the same function for these switches on the J41. Also, is there a [2D] overhead panel (e.g. Shift+3 brings up the FMS 2D panel)? If so, what is the key command? I did look at the J41 ini file but I would not know what to add to that file. Any help appreciated! [P.S. - I have exactly the same challenge with the PMDG 737NGX lights - don't want to start a duplicate post there as I am presuming the solution, if there is one, will be the same for both aircraft] GregH Intel Core i7 14700K / Palit RTX4070Ti Super OC / Corsair 32GB DDR5 6000 MHz / MSI Z790 M/board / Corsair NVMe 9500 read, 8500 write / Corsair PSU1200W / CH Products Yoke, Pedals & Quad; Airbus Side Stick, Airbus Quadrant / TrackIR, 32” 4K 144hz 1ms Monitor
May 20, 201214 yr Yes there is! i have just re-installed my J41 as I had a massive fsx failure and decided to try something new. With your registered copy of FSUIPC, this is well well well (you get my point) worth having a look at... http://forum.avsim.n...lcome-to-linda/ It has worked for me good luck with it! Richie Lumsden
May 22, 201214 yr Author Thanks Richiebacardi - have checked the link you posted, looks promising, if a little complicated. It is free thanks to the developers, so I guess I have nothing to lose! :-) GregH Intel Core i7 14700K / Palit RTX4070Ti Super OC / Corsair 32GB DDR5 6000 MHz / MSI Z790 M/board / Corsair NVMe 9500 read, 8500 write / Corsair PSU1200W / CH Products Yoke, Pedals & Quad; Airbus Side Stick, Airbus Quadrant / TrackIR, 32” 4K 144hz 1ms Monitor
