Possible to add a DME Gauge to Do-228?

Hi all, I spend a good deal of time flying the freeware Dornier 228 by Premair. She isnt much to look at, but what can I say shes a good time and fits in well with my Air Hauler company. The only problem I have is the only DME guage is on the co-pilots side of the cockpit and that makes for an awkward view while flying in the VC on approach. My work around is to basically size the GPS so it fits on the dash and get distance from that. Since this is not optimal I was wondering if some one could explain to me how I might either move an existing DME gauge to a different location in the cockpit or if there is an add on that I could install onto a particular aircraft.
