May 12, 200422 yr Hi there,Somehow my questions fall on deaf ears in the PSS forum. Is there anyone who knows if and how the PSS panels can be merged with:a) the POSKY A330; and:( the Aerodesigns A340such that the PSS gauges show in the VC?All help appreciated.Misha
May 12, 200422 yr Well, pointing the panels into another aircraft is easy. If afterwards everything will work properly is another question.Go into panel folder for your POSKY and edit panel.cfg to point to the panel of PSS, eg. alias=pssab-propanel.330
May 12, 200422 yr Thanks Word Not Allowed, but that wasn't the question. I have no problems getting the panel to work with these aircraft. What I am trying to do is get the PSS gauges to display in the virtual cockpit. This requires some editing as the models are different. Just aliasing to the PSS panel gets you dark screens in the VC of the POSKY or Aerodesigns aircraft.Misha
May 12, 200422 yr Having the gauges appear in the VC is a much more involved operation because it will probably involve manipulation of the .mdl file.Since it would be in extrememly bad taste (even illegal) for AD or POSKY to release .mdl files that specifically work with the PSS gauges, they won't.
