FS2002 Stuttering

Featured Replies

Hi you experts, I have just upgraded my computer to a Athlon 3.0,512DDR ram, NVIDIA G Force Ti200 Graphics and whilst the FPSis excellent, I have a stuttering that occurs near the ground andhigh up at times which is quite severe. This also affects the ATC sound as well. Any ideas of what might be causing this andwhat could be done to alleviate it???Would appreciate any assistance givenJohnPS: I also have FS9 installed and it occurs in that too.

Does upgrading mean, you also reformatted your hardrive and reinstall Windows? If so, did you install the MOBO Controller Chip drivers, i.e., Intel, VIA, SiS, AMD, ALi, NForce? Have you installed all the Windows updates, especially DirectX9.0b?Press Start, Run..., type dxdiag, OK. Let the directx diagnostic stabilize, select the Display tab, ensure directdraw, direct3d, and AGP accelerators are enabled. If grayed out, see MOBO Controller Chip drivers installation above. Run the directdraw and direct3d tests and note any errors.Select the Sound tab, try decreasing the sound acceleration one step at a time to see if the FS2002 stutters problem is fixed. Run the sound tests and note any errors.W. Sieffert
