16:9 Panel no CIVA INS or ISG

Featured Replies

Hi, I don't have any of the addons yet (CIVA/ISG). How can I make a panel.cfg for the standard plane with SP177 autopilot but widescreen?

by default it seems to be the SP177 with a 4:3 Panel.

All you need to do is download V1.40 update and follow the 'read me' instructions. It's very straightforward.

I have the 1.40 update. that's what I mean, there is no panel cfg for 177 widescreen with no addons.

OK I see what you mean. Just use either of the SP-177 files and don't install the CIVA or ISG. The panel config files just make accommodation for those add-ons but it doesn't mean you have to use them. The panel config will still work with blank spots where the .cfg would place the INS/FMC if they were installed.

Then everything is black except the gauges.

I don't know then...it works for me. I use the 16.9 SP-77 CIVA panel but just switched it out for the 16.9 SP-177 ISG (which add-on I don't have) panel and everything works fine. There are blank spots where the CIVA display and controller should be and the Honeywell GNS-XLS FMS window does nothing when selected as it's not there, but all else is normal........

Sounds to me like you've got some other issue at work there.
