SAM 27000 Final Flight

Featured Replies

I wanted to recreate SAM 27000's final presidential flight in FSX, but I'm not finding enough information online. Some sites say it was from San Antonio to Waco, and others say it was from Waco to San Antonio, and none of them mention which airports were used (and I can't figure it out, because San Antonio has an International Airport has an international airport and two Air Force bases, and I think Waco has at least a couple potential candidates, too). Does anybody have some better information on it?

Thanks,

Thanks! I think I actually did see that page, but since I was looking at so many pages, I gave it a quick glance and didn't read the title (I thought it was just a layout of the plane). Silly me...

That's not actually the flight I was referring to (I was talking about the final presidential flight), but it'll work.

Though actually, does anybody have the correct info on the last presidential flight? I'm using it for an FSX video, and it'll be quicker to film with the shorter route.

From Wikipedia: "Its last Presidential voyage was August 29, 2001, when it delivered George W. Bush and Laura Bush to TSTC Waco Airport en route to their Prairie Chapel Ranch.[4" Although not mentioned, it's safe to assume departure from Andrews AFb (KADW); Waco Airport is KCNW. Probably be near impossible to find the actual filed flight plan after 10+ years, but something like FSBuild should give you a close approximation.

Okay, thanks! I'm not sure where I got San Antonio from. Maybe I was finding conflicting information because I was researching two different flights!
