Does anyone know of any (free) good alternate virtual cockpit models for FSX that can be swapped with the default airliners? Most of the default aircraft have poorly made (A321) or converted (747) and I was curious if anyone has created such a file for any of the default planes.

I no longer fly the default A321 and yes I agree the VC is not up to current standards.

 

The freeware Project Airbus is so much better to fly and look at - and while, yes it does utilise the default VC, some of the recent bundles incorporating the A320 and A321 use modified gauges that enhance the experience. (Not quite what you are looking for I know -but it does make the experience more pleasing IMO.)
