Fs9 Auto Smoke Problem. No more Manual Lights Control.

Featured Replies

I have been having this problem for years now, I go and set up the auto smoke in my airplanes such as any of the Jets, freeware and even payware for the heat shimmer to turn on auto with the light's switches such as Wing, Recognition, Taxi and Logo lights with the freeware XML files, and then I no more have control over those lights on my panels. As soon as there is one of those XML file entries into the panel folder config file that is attached to the aircrat config folder in the light section. Then those lights then become manually useless and is always stuck in the on positions even with the engines shut down and no smoke present. The XML files lock out the light switches, I can not turn them on or off as they are in the stuck on position. Those XML files are not set up correctly for light switches. Is there any way to get the auto smoke to turn on and off with the engines by setting up a way to use another source to tell the smoke to turn on or off as the engine panel has rpm and heat readings shown by a needle up or down according to engine pressures or rpm. I feel that nothing should ever be attached to the lights section for anything but the lights themselves. The Reverse spray causes the same problems with the Taxi and Logo light switches. The effects work great but no light switches to use as in the real reality of things.

Please help with any new way or new type of Auto Smoke XMLs if possible. Thanks in advance for any help.
