June 21, 201213 yr Hi everyone i would like to know if the PMDG 737ngx autothrottle disengage automatically before landing . Let me just say i normally disengage it myself, but somtimes the joystick makes it hard for me to disengage the AT when flying manually . June 21, 201213 yr The autothrottle will reduce to idle at 27 feet radio altitude and then disconnect two seconds after you touchdown.This assumes you have not turned the autothrottle off during your final approach. DIMITRI
