June 21, 201213 yr Been getting these odd blocks/shapes in the sky since I installed either ORXB CRM or Shade... they're not everywhere, and sometimes they disappear, but I see them pretty regularly. Any idea what I can do to stop them appearing?
June 22, 201213 yr Try reducing your visual settings slightly within FSX Arnie....if it ain't broke, don't fix it...
June 22, 201213 yr Author Hmm... seemed to work. I opened the sim, took them down and they're gone. Put the settings back up and they're still gone. Might just be a case of restarting the sim! Thanks!
June 22, 201213 yr Yes, it appears your system is having a hard time rendering so moving the settings down a little will help. Opening and closing FSX to change a setting allows time for the system to render scenery. FSX begins loading and rendering scenery/aircraft as soon as you open the startup screen and select a flight plan, an aircraft, select weather and time. If you do not hit the Fly Now button for five minutes or more, you'll find fsx starts up much, much faster and with great textures. Best regards, Jim
