Important Thing To know When FSX Lags A Lot

Featured Replies

Hey everyone i thought i should share with you guys a latest experience i had in FSX . I actually made a post about high FPS but fsx seem to lag a lot. What i discover was that sometime when fsx lags a lot it has nothing to do with your computer spec's , you may have one of the best computer that there is out there but if you have a payware that is not correctly installed it also can cause you these lags. I notice this because my REXE weather theme wasn't loading up its weather so i finally notice this after 5 flight flying with fsx default weather. I was like is this REXE , so when i click on my current weather i saw the weather theme said " Fair Weather" one of fsx default weather theme. So i notice rexe wasn't loading the weather when it seem it did. Right now i manage to fix the issue by setting the initial weather injection time to 2 minutes since it was on 3 an i think i have fix this issue. So keep in mind if you have good FPS but get lags sometimes or these 2 second pause every now an then like Chock once told me check to see if anything its running in the background consuming more memory than it should . So i kind of did that an also check to see if my current payware are working correctly . If you have payware that are not working correctly you may get these stutter that my fsx used to have . Now i also limited my FPS in fsx only, i did not use any other program only FSX FPS Limiter .
