July 12, 201213 yr Hi Guys, After having 2 great years with my I7 920 CPU, I've decided it was time to upgrade to some Ivy Bridge action. I've based it on the idea that I want to get FSX as slick as possible and also have a Solid machine for X-plane 10 as it grows I've read some very good posts in here which have helped cement my decision. It wont be anything you havent already seen, but I'll be posting up my FSmark2011 scores and maybe a video showing how It went together, how I overclocked it and also then how I applied alot of the tweaks in Word Not Allowed's FSX setup post. I'm also using some original parts from my current setup to help keep my costs down.
