Hey gang,What's the difference between a WAC and a sectional chart? I own the sectionals for Atlanta and Seattle, so at least I know what one of those looks like! The WACs seem to cover more area, but that may just be a difference in the scale.Any input is appreciated.

Basically, you've already figured it out. They are done at different scales so more area covered in a WAC than a sectional. There will be more detail depicted on a sectional. However, as far as using the charts with your flightsim, I would say a WAC would work just fine and you could cover the entire US with less cost involved than purchasing all the sectionals. Unless of course you can pick up some used ones from free from a pilot or pilot supply shop, then I would go ahead and get the sectionals. :-)
