Question for users of Aura Interactor

Featured Replies

After reading Doug Horton's review of the Aura Interactor, I got one right away. I'm not sure mine is working properly and was wondering if anyone who has one could verify if my experience is being shared by others, or if my unit might be defective. What has me concerned is that in addition to the vibrations, which are lots of fun, the unit also emits loud, rumbling, almost static-like sounds that overwhelm whatever is coming out of my normal speakers. I saw no mention in Doug's review of the speaker in the unit doing anything more than creating vibrations, whereas my unit is quite audible and distracting. Is this how it is supposed to operate? From Doug's review I would have thought there would be just vibrations, not actual hearable sounds as well.I've fiddled with the power and filter settings but these do not solve the problem. I either have vibrations AND sound or nothing at all. Can anyone give me some feedback? Thanks.Macwino

Since making my original post, I've fiddled a bit more and found that I could eliminate the static and undue rumbling by shifting from Game to Music mode. Now the unit acts as merely a third speaker with vibrations added in. So now my only question is whether the unit should be emitting sounds at all. Macwino
