June 16, 200421 yr I noticed on the main page that this product has gone on sale. I have been looking at this offering since version 2 has come out but just could not seem to justify it. However, with this simple technique called 'a limited time sale', the producer won me over. I did get it and I am really enjoying it.But my question is, why dont we see this with FS addon producers. Granted, maybe a few (very few) have done this in the past? I can quickly count 6 older addons that I would buy today if there was say a $5US break on the product. I am not talking recent stuff. For example, the DF Archer, been out for what, a year? I have another of their products and would snag this asap with a price reduction. Or how about a reduced price with a package deal? I am also not talking of products that have been reduced but only run with FS2k2 or even FS2k - that type of thing will never hit the mark with me.I mean it guys, once the first pulse of buying (couple of months, 6 months?) is over you may want to start thinking of this. Even MSFS9 has gone down to only $10US (that is 4 price reductions).I don't know, food for thought though as we see this type of thing accross the board in the entire retail world. June 16, 200421 yr I agree completley. However, people still must be buying these aged products at the elevated price; otherwise I would suspect that they would lower the price. Ah well, who knows.
June 18, 200421 yr yes, one would suspect a price reduction formatit really is interesting that they dont follow MS, and 99% of all other retailer operations with a reduction schedule.
