I was considering X-Plane 10 but saw several post about updating xpx to 64 bit. Will it not run on a 64 bit machine? Thanks for any reply.

it works just fine on Win 7 64. There is a 64 bit version of X-plane 10 on the horizon which will allow better usage of memory.
