multiple monitor sizes and surround vision

Featured Replies

Hello,

Just a quick question that has probably been asked before, can I extend surround vision across monitors of different size using an extansion module like triple head to go? I know you cant do it with nvidia surround as all the monitors must be exact. I'm thinking of using one 30" as the main then two 22" turned vertically on either side of it to expand the field of vision. Can this be done?

Thanks

No, not for 3d surround. Monitors would have to be the same and be 120hz refresh.

Or are you just taking about running 3 monitors in 2d? IIRC TH2go requires the same resolution on all 3 (or at least the same vertical res.) There is a program called SoftTH that will allow you to set up multi screens in windowed mode but at the expense of FPS. I think the advantage to using SoftTh is that you could adjust for different size monitors too.

Yes I'm referring to expanding the virtual cockpit window to stretch across screens of different sizes. Sounds like from your reply that TH2go will do the trick as long as the refresh rates are the same. Thanks for your reply.
