Hello ,a big thank you and also a small question

Recommended Posts

After having been a lurker in the dark for a long time, I think the time has come to express my gratitude to all you guys. I have been a simmer since FS98 following through to MS Flight. Like a lot of you I was shocked and sad about the premature cancellation of Flight. Weighing up my options on what simulator to use in the near future, I decided my road at the moment could only be FSX. (Xplane and Prepar3d have yet to convince me). Yesterday after taking a deep breath, I reinstalled and followed Word Not Allowed's guide precisely. The initial effect was breathtaking, I had never before experienced FSX so fluid and stutter free. Again a big thanks to Word Not Allowed.

My question is: Has anyone tried Kostas guide using DX10 preview mode? I know that it is buggy and broken, but I remember using it 3 years ago because the perfomance was better.

Look forward to posting more in this wonderful forum.
