Prepar3D v2 showing it's Dx11 face...
I fully understand Jcomm getting a bit "overexcited". I mean we are all in this wondeful hobby for the thrill too. We shouldn´t get too disillusioned and start discrediting each other. I am more of a lurker than contributor but I appreciate Jcomms contributions which have been far from speculative so far. Everyone makes a mistake so as Bonchie mentioned lets lighten up and look forward to an exciting future with a (hopefully) great version of P3D2. Peace

GTX 660Ti First Benchmarks
bryllyant replied to Ben Cap's topic in Video Hardware: Monitors | Multi-Monitors | Video Cards | Drivers etcHmmm, i was thinking of upgrading from a GTX480 to a GTX670. But Bens benchmarks have got me pondering if the 660 is the way forward. It would be interesting to know how the stock 660 performs because here in Germany the difference between the superclocked 660 and a stock 670 is 60 Euros max.

How to edit runways at FSX stock airports?
I have been using ADE for 2 years now and absolutely love it. Admittedly it takes time to get used to it but it is a powerful tool. I have created my own fanatasy airport from the stock Lübeck airport here in North Germany where I live. The guys at Scruffy Duck Software (great name!) have been great at offering support whenever I had a problem. Give it a try , but be warned it can be addictive !

Hello ,a big thank you and also a small question
After having been a lurker in the dark for a long time, I think the time has come to express my gratitude to all you guys. I have been a simmer since FS98 following through to MS Flight. Like a lot of you I was shocked and sad about the premature cancellation of Flight. Weighing up my options on what simulator to use in the near future, I decided my road at the moment could only be FSX. (Xplane and Prepar3d have yet to convince me). Yesterday after taking a deep breath, I reinstalled and followed Word Not Allowed's guide precisely. The initial effect was breathtaking, I had never before experienced FSX so fluid and stutter free. Again a big thanks to Word Not Allowed. My question is: Has anyone tried Kostas guide using DX10 preview mode? I know that it is buggy and broken, but I remember using it 3 years ago because the perfomance was better. Look forward to posting more in this wonderful forum. Bryllyant
