Dear Members, I was making a Flight and I noticed that the sky is not that realistic in my Fs9..See the attached pic..see by urself.Are there any other Atmospheric Textures that look more realistic to reality? what do you think from this pic? Do i have something wrong?Regards,

The sky in FS9 is much better than FS8, but still could use some improvement. The sky colour changes with the date selected (not with the geographic location, as some originally thought). Just moving the date forward by one day makes the sky look completely different. I haven't checked exactly how many "variations" exist in FS, but I'd guess about 5-7 of them. It seems to "cycle" these variations. You'll just have to find a "date" that you like :-lol Example: 7th of August 2004 for white haze, 8th for vibrant, almost cartoonish blue sky etc. This also affects sunsets so if you want that perfect sunset shot, try cycling the time a couple of days forward or back.There was a set of replacement sky colours being developed. Unfortunately, the project has been put on hold due to personal problems of the author. Also, I'd guess the FSW group are working on something similar.
