Losing Sound When ATC Talks

Featured Replies

Whenever i try to use the default ATC i can't hear the ATC & the other enviromental sounds including engines dip to a low level & takes ages to return. I tried saving my flight but that doesn't work.

I have Traffic X installed but i don't know if that's causing the issues.

Kind Regards,

Si.

Never mind i sussed it, i had too many playback devices enabled in my W7 sound options.

Thanks,

Do note that you will still have this problem if you choose to play sim sounds on your speakers and voice on your headset as I like to do. It increases the immersion for me as it sounds more lifelike when the engine is muffled by my computer headset.

Open your Sound Control Panel, click on the Communications Tab and then choose "Do Nothing" or whatever option suits your needs.
