June 21, 200421 yr Hi,I think this is included or recommended as part of one of Holger's great scenery addons but I'm not sure. Anyway, you can all see what's wrong and I would appreciate any suggestions as to how I put it right. I am assuming it's a missing effects file for the ship's wake. The screen shot was taken near Juneau Intl.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/81129.jpgRight now, I'm scratching my head...hmmm perhaps it was unwise to include that comment..bound to invite trouble...LOLThanks,Mike
June 22, 200421 yr hi,is that with coastal shipping 1 installed(by Brian Burger iirc)?if so,go to Prince George/CYPR and see if the maersk vessel outside that airport has the same issue.i know i do ;-)have no fix though,i suspect it'll be a macro thingy or somting.cheers
June 22, 200421 yr Hi Tom,"is that with coastal shipping 1 installed(by Brian Burger iirc)?if so,go to Prince George/CYPR and see if the maersk vessel outside that airport has the same issue."......yes, you are correct and yes, same problem at CYPR. I note there are 3 wake bmp files in the texture folder under CoastalShip1. Deleting them has no effect. May have something to do with the fact that this addon was originally intended for FS2002 - just a guess and quite probably wrong :(Cheers!Mike

June 22, 200421 yr Tom, to round this off, I've just installed the scenery in FS2k2 and the wakes are indeed there. However, instead of a white rectangle, there is a black one with the wake embedded. Sadly the texture is not stable and keeps flashing irregularly as if the placement has been at the wrong elevation. Ah well, I might try e-mailing Brian to see whether he is still around and remains interested.Cheers,Mike
