A quick question. I was trying to uninstall the Iris Pro F-14 last night but I could not find any options for that. I also checked in the control panel under "uninstall a program" but there was no listing there either.

 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are more addons that don't have an uninstaller. Don't know why, really... The easiest way to get rid of the plane is to simply remove the folder of the Pro F-14 from the Simobjects airplanes folder. You might also look for an Iris folder, maybe in the main FSX folder, and remove that one (unless of course you have more Iris planes and want to keep those!).

I remember reading about some add-ons overwriting the uninstaller of others, because they all are called simply "uninstall.exe", and are located in the main FSX folder. Maybe the F-14 is one of those?

Thank you Gents for your replies. Yes I did try all the "uninstall" files in the main FSX folder but none of them was the F-14. I will go with removing the files from Simobject folder and the Iris folder containing the manuals. That should do the trick.
