it Was All Going So Well...

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

Late yesterday afternoon all set up, NGX intsalled, EZCA all tweaked & AS2012 on networked laptop. Started a quick flight and everything was tickety boo

Went back last night only to find when I started P3D I was greetd with a black screen - ok I thought must be related to having the NGX as the default flight. Deleted the cfg so it would rebuild now getting a 'Can't init SimConnect Error'

Plus the NGX will not load and eventvwr points to a PMDG_737NGX_2.dll error

What on earth has happened!!!

Any advice would be great as one minute all was good now no NGX and no AS2012...

Help!

Uh-oh, that is a first.

I don't know if this helps, but I had problems with NGX in P3D before. As it is not supported, nor licensed, can't really be discussed (and shouldn't).

But a reinstall might help

And never ever should you put addon aircraft as default situation. Not even in FSX.

Hi

Wow, many thanks for the quick reply!

If I load P3D in legacy mode the Simconnect error does not happen? However if I run normal or legacy the NGX now has the following error:

ApphangB1

Whats recommended Legacy or Normal launch?

I will try a few things and update

I am running it normal with the migrator active, but not running fsx.exe, rather prepar3d.exe (non-legacy mode).

Concerning PMDG... as I said, should not be really discussed (licensing issues).

Hi - quick update

For anyone that has the 'Can't init SimConnect Error' this relates' to the host PC having a changed IP address!

And guess what... the NGX works again too.

Thanks Word Not Allowed for trying to help

Cheers!
