September 4, 201213 yr After some hardware complications, I installed FSX and P3D, each on a separate hard drive. For some reason neither simulation will recognize the realism settings. No matter whether the Piper J-3 or Cessna 172's realism sliders are at EASY, MEDIUM, or HARD, they fly like they are set at easy. They don't pull to the side during take off, nothing. Interestingly, the fsx.cfg and Prepar3D.cfg files show that the realism settings are being changed. FSX example of my cfg file: [REALISM] PFactor=1.000000 Torque=1.000000 GyroEffect=1.000000 CrashTolerance=1.000000 General=1.000000 UnlimitedFuel=False TrueAirspeed=False AutoCoord=True RealMixture=True StressDamage=True GEffect=True ManualLights=True GyroDrift=True CrashWithDyn=True CrashDetection=True AutoTrim=False AllowEngineDamage=True Any ideas as to what's going on?
