June 27, 200421 yr Can I ask this question again. Is it normal in fs9 for when onearrives at an airport and saves the flt, then returns for the fltplanner not to work untl you have hit `go to airport` and gone backto where I was in the first place?? At present ATC totally ignoresthe flt plan until I carry out the `go to airport` procedure??Would appreciate a respnse pleaseJohn
June 28, 200421 yr I'm not sure that I understand what you are asking John, so I'll tell you how I do it and see if this helps you.Let's say that I file a flightplan to fly from airport A to airport B, then I fly the flightplan, land at B, and then save the flight. When I restart FS9 and retrieve my saved flight, the old flightplan will still be loaded. This flightplan, however is useless to me now because it starts at A and ends at B; I'm already at B.If I want to continue my flight from airport B to airport C or return to airport A, I must first hit the "Clear" button on the flightplan screen, then load or create a flightplan from B to C or back to A. If I use a flightplan that gets me from B back to A, then I can reload the original flightplan to fly to B again. In short, the FS9 flightplanner lets you create a route that goes from one point to a second point, in one direction, and that is all it can do (to my knowledge). As far as I know, it cannot be used to create a multistop round-robin flightplan for example. I hope that this helps. R-
