June 30, 200421 yr I know I have seen these instructions before...I have the Reality XP 530 and it has a load manager to install itself into your aircraft. It adds the GPS, but MSFS will still load the default gps when you open the gps via shift-#. I recall that there is a line in either the aircraft or panel cfg file that will change this to another unit.Anyone out there remember how to do this?

And it's more than one line. But once you've done it for one plane it gets much easier for the next ones.
June 30, 200421 yr Howdy, you have to replace two lines/sections...- in WINDOW TITLES of the panel.cfg replaceWindow...xx=GPSwithWindow...xx=Reality XP 530 GPS...for the auto resize function- replace[Window...xx]size_mm=456,378window_size=0.5position=8BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0VISIBLE=0ident=GPS_PANELgauge00=fs9gps!gps_500, 0,0with[Window...xx]Background_color=16,16,16 size_mm=400,292position=0visible=0ident=GPS_PANELgauge00=RealityXP_FL530XP!GNS530, 0,0,400,292gauge01=RealityXP_FL530XP!WICL, 384,0,16,16,225If the window ident number of the GPS panel window you want to change is different, change the panel ident number of the new GPS window as well. Additionally, change the fifth parameter of the WICL gauge accordingly. This makes sure any gauge or click spot used in the original panel stays functional. Position of the GPS: 9 Position numbers are counted from upper left corner down to lower right corner - 0,1,2 are upper line (left, middle, right), 3,4,5 are middle line, 6,7,8 are lower line. I prefer the upper left position in most planes (0), but the choice is yours, simply replace the integer.
July 1, 200421 yr Hi, I think I'm beyond my own depth on all of this. I have tried but lose the replacement 530XP have tried your install and the one that came with the add-on.No Luck Are there two versions pay add on and freeware? as I don't see the auto install. Is there a realityXP site.thanks TONY
July 1, 200421 yr I don't really understand the first part of your message. Where did you get the 530XP from? There are two versions of this addon:1. A standalone version that can be purchased at the URL mentioned below. This one can be installed in any panel with the method mentioned in Uwe's post.2. A version that is part of Flight1's Piper Meridian package. This one only works in the Meridian.> Is there a realityXP site.http://www.reality-xp.com/Very friendly support forum!VOlker :]
