Where are the FS cab files.....?

Featured Replies

Sorry to ask a simple question like this, but I need to re-load my Mooney panel and gauges. Somehow I changed panels with one I don't like.....and didn't save. I've looked at all 4 disks in FS, and I can't remember how to access the original panels and gauges for a specific aircraft. Thanks in advance. Stan

Thanks,I guess panels are either Disk1 or Disk2. Stan

I still have the IFR panel for the Mooney. But for some reason, I can't seem to get back the regular panel. I opened the cab files and thought I dragged the right files, but no luck. Exactly what files do I need to install to get the regular Mooney panel. I must be having a brain freeze or something. Stan

BTW, I forgot about this document available in the library. It lists every single file available on the FS9 CD's. If you don't have Excel, he gives an addy for a free Excel reader that may work.fs9cddir.zip Author: Brian CollinsFile Description:After seeing numerous requests for lost or corrupted file locations for FS9, I decided to create a document that listed the location of every file on each CD-ROM. This .xls document lists the name, size, and location of every one of the almost 40,000 files included on the 4 CD-ROMS. This file was created with Excel 2002. While it shouldn't make a difference (for file locations), this document is based on the initial "Tin Can" US release edition.

Orygun,I see nothing in my e-mail. Please send if you can. I would be most appreciative. Also, the name of your file does not come up in the AVSIM Library. I'll keep checking. Stan [email protected]

Brent,Thanks. The Mooney Panel is back. ONE LAST QUESTION though. In my 2D Panel, their aren't any side views or side front, side rear, or rear views that I remember being there. Is there somewhere where I have to activate ALL the 2D views? Thanks again Stan

No, there aren't any of the old 2D type bitmaps for cockpit views with the default Mooney. You do have all those cockpit views though via the model/VC. Jump in and take a peak at forward_right, right, right_rear etc. You should have VC-style cockpit views from the 2D panel (Regular panel and IFR panel). There may be 3rd party Mooney panels that provide the 2D view bitmaps?
