October 3, 201213 yr Hey guys, I did complete reinstall of both Windows 7 and FSX, to get rid of all the rubbish that was making everything inside slow. Now, with a rather clean computer I am reinstalling everything. My one rule is very simple: don't install anything of which you are sure you won't fly anyway. This means I'm not installing 75% of my sceneries, and also much of my airplanes will stay in the hangar for now. However, I do have a dilemma now. I really like doing cargo hauls from time to time, but I don't need a multitude of cargo aircraft. At the moment, I have the PMDG MD-11 and LDS767 to do cargo hauls for me. Both cna be used both in the Americas and Europe, which is perfect. But here's the thing. I would like a third one. The chocie I have to make is between the QW757 and Simcheck A300. The former is a lot more versatile, as I'll be able to use the 757 also for flights in the US with just about any large US carrier. However, because it's so similar to the 767, and because in European cargo hauls it will have identical functions to the 767 (Both flying as DHL Air UK from Leipzig, meaning they would have the same destinations), I feel like I would be introducing pretty much "identical" planes, which is what I really want to avoid. I want every plane in my FSX setup to have its own little niche. The A300 would thus be perfect, for it's a very different aircraft than the 757/767. It would fly as Air Contractors with DHL livery from Leipzig which is what I want (at least it will have different destinations than the DHL Air UK 757). But, the A300 is not versatile at all. I would only use it for these specific routes, and won't be using it anywhere else (except for some cargo hauls in mexico perhaps). So that's where I'm at. Both planes have their pros and cons. I'm leaning towards the A300 in all honesty because of it being such an interesting plane, but some second opinions would be very nice.
