Whats happening with the grass?

Featured Replies

HI all. Today I fly to Hong kong and see that the taxiway is covered by grass (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/255/vhhhfsx.jpg/). It only happens in certain area of the airport and in certain view angle. I am using imaginsim VHHH and I have already tried to remove REX high res grass. Any more ideas on this problem? Thanks.

Interesting, I've never seen this before. Have you tried re installing that scenery?

I had the same issue.

This is a "texture bleed" through problem, caused by wrong altitude parameters in the airport BGL.

It can be corrected by using ADE, and adjusting the elevations.

If you need more help, send me a PM.

Regards.

Just downloaded ADEX and playing around with it. Does it support 3rd party airport like imaginesim VHHH or just stock airport?

I am still trying to import the airport so I can edit the altitude. I will look at the manual but any quick hints could help a lot. Thanks.

You need to have the FSX SDK installed before using ADE.

Assuming this is the case, import the VHHH BGL, make the elevation adjustments.

Save the file, and then compile it.

Once this is done you would place the file in your addon scenery\scenery folder.

Next time you fire up FSX the changes should be visible.

Again,if you need further assistance, you can PM me.

Cheers!
