October 31, 201213 yr I have FSX for about 3 years now and have enjoyed it very much. I have installed it several time as I change computer and or hard drive. Lately I got a bad virus and I had to format my drive and reinstall everything. This time as I install FSX, MS won't accept the product key, the message is that I have install FSX to many time. I call MS to report that and they told me that they no longer support FSX and to go on there forum and see if I will get some help. So far nothing. Any idea how I can resolve this without buying FSX again? I would greatly appreciate it. Tom from Toronto
October 31, 201213 yr Commercial Member I remember having the same issue one time. I used the automated procedure of calling the 800 # provided during the installation. I think I remember having to enter some code via the phone and it in turn gave me a new key to use. I'm not certain, but I think that is what I had to do. As EVEL KNIEVEL would say, "Happy Landings!"http://www.towercab.com
October 31, 201213 yr Call again, this is not a support issue, it is an activation issue. Let them know that.
October 31, 201213 yr I never had to reactivate my FSX license, but I had to do it with Windows and Office. Usually there is a window that tells you to call a specific number, as Yahooligan described, and for me it was even a local number. But I don't know if FSX has this service. I hope it does, because otherwise you have only these options open: call MS and demand a solution or buy a new one. Off topic: and this is why world is wondering, why people then resort to "third solutions", you know what I'm talking about...
