July 14, 200421 yr Is anyone using Dirk's software with their force feedback stick and if so, how do you like it?Mark
July 14, 200421 yr Wouldn't fly without it. Much closer to genuine trimming, far more adjustment in settings, and all the support MS won't provide for FF.Well worth the money as it works with every aircraft, freeware, payware or default.Allcott
July 14, 200421 yr Perhaps the best money I've ever spent on this hobby. Use it every day, every flight, every plane, and makes my expensive FF2 Joystick FINALLY worth the money. I wish I could say I use all the payware stuff I buy every day....I just don't, nor does anyone else. I use FSForce every startup of FS9.The ABSOLUTE BEST! Stan
July 16, 200421 yr I agree, indispensable. Vastly improves the FS experience. My only complaint is that the hoped for/ initially discussed development work and additional features hasn't happened and doesn't seem to be on the horizon, at least from the posts I've read... I was expecting more active support of the program as one of the things that justified the purchase price.
July 16, 200421 yr I've been playing with the trial this morning...quite a bit different than the default trim setup. It really takes some getting used to. No more flying the aircraft with the trim buttons! When I installed the software, I couldn't get the buttons on the joystick to work so I post at their forum that my trim buttons on my stick no longer function and Russell says everything is working fine! :DI'll probably buy it and carry on with the 'getting used to' part.Mark:P
July 17, 200421 yr I couldn't fly without it since the stick (FF2) is so anemic without it. I'm just waiting for the "turbulence" kick. Dirk will soon be working on it, I assume, and then, as far as I'm concerned, it will be complete. Everything else, from landing gear, rollout, and miscellaneous forces work great. I'm just missing the turbulence "bump" that I feel in a real plane. I expect it pretty soon. Stan
